There's nothing like the space constraints of travel to force you to consider the minimalist approach. You could be short on space for a road trip, crammed with family or friends. Or maybe you're trying to get around those pesky luggage fees most airlines tack on these days. Regardless, you shouldn't have to sacrifice style, or the way you choose to present yourself for the sake of travel. The great thing is that with a little planning and organization, you can travel without compromising your personal style. Just be mindful when traveling with expensive or sentimental jewelry pieces. You wouldn't want to lose a statement piece with lots of history. And you certainly don't want to attract the wrong types of attention. Have fun packing pieces for your next getaway, but be smart. And, check out our guest post below to discover jewelry styles to define your look & minimize packing. If you like any of the tips, be sure to LIKE or SHARE on Facebook or Twitter! Happy travels. :)

We first met former editor, Camille Tisdol, of Charge Magazine a few years back at a fashion event at Thrive. Stylishly driven, we were super excited to have her magazine not only cover our pre-show event for the Georgia Music Awards, but also feature our Creative Director, Shane Smith on the cover for a featured article. As one of two heading the magazine label, Tisdol’s magazine was geared toward girls mostly between 11-21, and provided fashion and style tips, beauty, and even school and early career advice. And as an editor, Tisdol’s work often involved generating story ideas, and writing feature stories and department columns, along with editing copy. We had a chance to catch up with Camille to ask for her top 3 Pros and Cons of running a magazine to share with you - you know, for all you budding moguls out there. Find the info helpful? Be sure to LIKE or SHARE on Facebook or Twitter! Thanks, darling. :)
