If you’re looking to mix things up, Stilt Walkers can be a great addition to your party atmosphere. Maybe because they tower over all, Stilt Walkers attract attention wherever they go. This makes them great for trade shows and conventions, where you need to draw a crowd. But when booking Stilt Walkers for an indoor event, you want to make sure they can clear the ceiling height. The last thing you want is to book a performer only to realize your venue doesn’t have the ceiling height to show them off. Not winning. It seldom is an issue. But go on the safe side, and make sure height won’t be an issue.
Booking Fire Performers:
Fire Performers are a hot addition to any party or event. Pun intended. When it comes to Fire Performers on indoor events, it’s a great idea to have permission from the venue in advance for the performance. More often than not, it’s not a big deal. But each venue is different, and only the venue owner/manager will know if ventilation is adequate, as well whether there needs to be a Fire Marshall. Also, most Fire Performers have an option for smaller fire equipment for intimate venues, so be sure to ask when needed. With outdoor events and festivals on the other hand, ventilation isn’t an issue of course. But, rain can be a whole other ballgame. If you’re hosting an outdoor event, rain is something you will have to take into consideration anyway. So, just be sure to have a little extra room under that tent for the Fire Performer.
Aerialists are a spectacular circus act that add drama and flair to any party, event, or occasion. With breathtaking artistry, aerial performances have become quite popular in recent years. But again, knowing a few key tips will ensure that your event is a success. When it comes to booking aerialists for your party or event, the three keys are rigging point, ceiling height, and access to rigging. To start, your venue needs some kind of structure that can support aerial rigging. Then the venue needs to have a ceiling with enough height, which on average is 14 feet from the floor to the rigging point. Your venue will also need strong beams to hold rigging, in addition to the weight of the performers. And the performers need safe access to rigging before the performance - so you want to make sure that your set up allows access.
