An exclusive event, only 5 studios were invited to compete in the benefit that raised over $14,000 for Dancers Care. The Dance Moms Cares episode honors the star's (Abby Lee Millner) mom, Maryen Lorrian Millner, (86), who's battling stage 4 colon cancer. And the company girls teamed up with several other studios to perform in the competition's opening number to raise awareness and fight cancer.
If you've never seen Lifetime's Dance Moms, well let me tell ya - it delivers all the drama you'd expect to find backstage. Hot mess! But at least the moms were able to put aside the drama, even if just for a moment, for a great cause. Check out a clip from the Dance Mom Cares episode. And be sure to check out the video of A New Day performed by Abby Lee's girls below!
