"When I was asked to be apart of this year's event, EDIN was a cause that I immediately connected with. As a professional dancer, body image is something that you're constantly aware of from castings, to costume fittings and tour weigh-ins. Over the course of my career, I had a few friends that suffered from various eating disorders, but getting to know the disorder, I've learned that it affects a wide variety of people. As cliche as it may sound, I believe in nourishing not only our bodies, but our minds and souls. And with eating disorders being not only a physical problem, but an emotional one as well - I can only imagine the affect of our society's current fascination with image. So, I'm super excited to support EDIN and help raise funds & awareness in the Celebrity Dance Challenge. And, I hope to see you at the Buckhead Theatre on April 20th!"
