Are you wearing the same ratty t-shirt and leggings day in and day out? Are your favorite streetwear pieces just collecting dust? Staying home has been a major adjustment for many around the world this year. And not to underscore the very real threat of Coronavirus, but when my clothing lacks any effort, it usually means I'm feeling temporarily defeated. However, after I make an effort to look my best, I'm ready to go out (or online these days) to conquer the world. That's why it was so interesting to meet Meerinsa Ganieva of Encanto Homewear. A local girl with an ambitious spirit, I met Meerinsa while here in Istanbul. And I found it intriguing how many people have taken the current times as an opportunity to try and better their lives. Get to know her and Encanto below. And be sure to LIKE or SHARE on Facebook or Twitter. It's COVID safe. :)
Corona Virus. There. We’ve said it. Recently it seems no matter where you turn, we’re being blasted with updates on the global virus. Almost everyone has been affected whether through health or finances. Our hearts go out to everyone that’s either been hit with the virus, or anyone that’s suffered from the economic effects. But sometimes, don’t you just need a little dose of positivity in your life? So we’ve decided to dedicate a post to help lift the spirits - a little balance to the 24/7 fear pandemic that continues to spread. Take a moment with us, and let’s think about the sun for a bit. As the center star of the solar system, the sun’s gravity holds the solar system together, keeping everything – from the biggest planets to the smallest particles of debris – in its orbit. And as an important player in life on earth, its no wonder we sometimes gravitate toward the color yellow when we need to add warmth to a room, or brightness to an outfit. Hopefully, this guest post will help you to create more sun rays in your life. If you like any of the tips below, be sure to LIKE or SHARE on Facebook or Twitter! One step toward positivity. :)
There's nothing like the right accessory to make an outfit or OOTD pop on the gram. Maybe you have a creative side and you're interested in launching a new side hustle. Or maybe you just need something to pass the time while riding out a world-wide, lock-down during a pandemic. Hey, things happen. There's nothing like the process of creating your own jewelry. There's only so much Netflix one can watch, right? After recently sitting through a jewelry making session at the Atlanta Ultimate Women's Expo, we've realized creating your own jewelry is a lot easier than you think. So why not give it a try? We even have a guide below to get you started. If you find any of the tips or suggestions helpful, be sure to LIKE or SHARE on Facebook or Twitter! Its apart of the creative process. :)

There's nothing like the space constraints of travel to force you to consider the minimalist approach. You could be short on space for a road trip, crammed with family or friends. Or maybe you're trying to get around those pesky luggage fees most airlines tack on these days. Regardless, you shouldn't have to sacrifice style, or the way you choose to present yourself for the sake of travel. The great thing is that with a little planning and organization, you can travel without compromising your personal style. Just be mindful when traveling with expensive or sentimental jewelry pieces. You wouldn't want to lose a statement piece with lots of history. And you certainly don't want to attract the wrong types of attention. Have fun packing pieces for your next getaway, but be smart. And, check out our guest post below to discover jewelry styles to define your look & minimize packing. If you like any of the tips, be sure to LIKE or SHARE on Facebook or Twitter! Happy travels. :)

We first met former editor, Camille Tisdol, of Charge Magazine a few years back at a fashion event at Thrive. Stylishly driven, we were super excited to have her magazine not only cover our pre-show event for the Georgia Music Awards, but also feature our Creative Director, Shane Smith on the cover for a featured article. As one of two heading the magazine label, Tisdol’s magazine was geared toward girls mostly between 11-21, and provided fashion and style tips, beauty, and even school and early career advice. And as an editor, Tisdol’s work often involved generating story ideas, and writing feature stories and department columns, along with editing copy. We had a chance to catch up with Camille to ask for her top 3 Pros and Cons of running a magazine to share with you - you know, for all you budding moguls out there. Find the info helpful? Be sure to LIKE or SHARE on Facebook or Twitter! Thanks, darling. :)
